The Foundations of Embodied Intelligence
These 12 Modules of the Course, released one per week, will ensure you gain both deeper understanding and skill in your own modes of embodied being and doing, as well as support you in applying & integrating these deep-level pattern shifts into your own life.
Modules 1-2: Deepening Your Self-Awareness Through EmbodYing Polarity
These first two modules give you a deeply experiential introduction to the core principles and polarities of Embodied Intelligence and function as a powerful Self-Assessment process that deepens your embodied self-awareness, right from the start. By experiencing, evaluating, and reflecting on each of the core Bodymind Dimensions of UZAZU, and making key connections to how you are currently showing up in your life, you'll gain crucial new insights into how the embodied nature of your current 'strengths & limitations' in daily life.
Modules 3-4: Get Grounded & Self-Regulated by Embodying Your Center
A truly empowering Embodiment is founded on your capacity to be deeply present to and and lovingly supportive of your own Center. Module 3 focuses on Deep Grounding into your body and becoming more profoundly comfortable with your sensations & feelings. Module 4 focuses on Effective Self-Regulation—how you can attend to your inner-feeling states and skillfully manage & balance them, both in solitude and in public.
Modules 5-6: Stand Strong & Show-Up Fully by Embodying Your BoundarY
Your Boundary shapes the space that defines and empowers YOU. It's also the membrane though which your share your Self and receive the World. Embodying your boundary more effectively & ease-fully makes living in the world so much less triggering and so much more naturally empowering! Module 5 focuses on the embodiment of Standing Firmly in your truth-in-the-moment and Module 6 teaches you how manage the two pathways of Authentic Expression & Openness to Experience.
Modules 7-8: Make Meaningful Connections by Embodying your Contacts
How you show up and 'tune-in' to each new point of Contact—where your Boundary meets an Other's—determines the potential richness of that interaction. Module 7 explores the core embodiment patterns that support you in Making Connections that are authentically enlivening & meaningful. Module 8 trains you to use these connection skills to enter into Sustained Flow States that free you to follow your natural intuition & flow with the process.
Modules 9-10: Manifest Shared Goodness by Embodying Your Exchanges
The more fully coherent and engaged your Exchanges are with Others, the more you can participate in co-creating things of real value and forming deeper relationships in the process. Module 9 focuses on the embodiment of 'doing good on purpose' & 'making a contribution'. Module 10 explores the 'meshwork space' of embodied co-creativity and dynamic synergy.
Modules 11-12: Bringing Embodied Intelligence into the Dance of Life
Now it's time to weave it all together... In Module 11, you'll explore the dynamic relationships, synergies, and tensions between each of the 8 core modes of embodiment you've been practicing. In Module 12 we'll lean into exactly where and how in your life you can apply these modes of embodiment to optimize the dynamic responsiveness and unique flow that's wanting to happen in each moment. So that 'embodiment' becomes not just something you do in a safe practice space, but also a natural part of how you live life!

How the Course Works
This 12-Week Course is designed to teach you all the foundational principles of Embodied Intelligence and to give you a solid, powerful set of simple practices you can continue to use and grow with for years to come.
This course is designed not as an 'information download', but rather as a deeply transformational journey. The sequence of posture-movements you will learn and practice mirrors, in a thoroughly embodied way, the stages of early childhood through early adulthood. And this gives your bodymind the unique opportunity to systematically re-pattern and 'upgrade' many of the habits, unconscious limiting beliefs, and bodymind schemas that became habituated at each key stage of your growing up. And it does this in a way that not only promotes deep mind-body integration, but also builds deep self-other, relational integration. And it's the combination of the two that's so key.
Joining this course provides you with the support, guidance and accountability to maintain a consistent, highly transformational embodiment practice. Having an experienced embodiment teacher-mentor to train and support you, through the learning will help keep you progressing.

About the Core Course:
What does each course module contain? What will I be 'doing' each week?
Each Saturday morning (your local time), for 12 weeks, you will receive an email with a link inviting you to login to that week's module, which will be automatically 'unlocked' for you in your online course area.
Each weekly course module will contain:
- A 20-35 minute Learning Video
- A 12-18 minute Practice Video
- A short PDF overview of the modules material
- The recording of a 90-minute interactive class on that material (with an optional 30-min Q&A discussion after).
All the course contents build on each other, from one module to the next, and within each module. So please do consume the course content in the sequence it's presented so you get the most out of it!
How many hours a week will I need to dedicate to this course, in order to get everything out of it?
I’d recommend investing 2-3 hours of your time, per week, to get through all the week's content (as described above). Of course, if you want to spend another 1-2 hours per week practicing that module's practices more often, that can help very much to deepen your integration and increase the transformation you experience!
What kind of physical space do I need to have, to practice UZAZU Embodied Intelligence? And is it Loud!?
The forms of UZAZU Embodied Intelligence we'll be focusing on in this course do not move around in space much. If you have enough room to do a Yoga or Chi-Gong practice, you'll have enough space to practice UZAZU. And while each movement has a specific vowel sound connected to it—to shape the mouth during breathing—we most often keep the vocalizations to a whisper - so it's rather quiet as a practice, and won't disturb anyone in the next room 😉
What if I’m away or unavailable to keep up during some of these 12 weeks?
That’s totally workable. The way the course is structured, it’s quite possible to miss a module here or there, then jump back in live and still benefit from wherever you are at with it. (Of course, if you can go through it all in sequence—that's of course preferable.) The first two weeks lay the foundation, then the following weeks ‘zero in’ on specific embodiment postures and how to work with them. If you miss any of these 'deep dive weeks', you can easily circle back on them later.
What if I have emotional trauma, repressed feelings, or other specific challenges I'm dealing with?
Good question! I'm glad you asked... It depends on a few things, namely:
1) The intensity and amount of the trauma and how deeply it’s currently affecting your ability to feel your own bodily sensations and self-regulate your emotions. The less you can feel your own internal bodily sensations & feelings in general, the harder (and slower-going) it is to work on yourself in a deeply embodied way without direct guidance (as you can perhaps imagine...) That said, this course proceeds in a very specific sequence that trains you to safely feel your sensations and emotions and regulate them much more effectively. In this case, however, you may want to consider speaking with Dylan about it first.
2) Your capacity to focus on self-development related endeavors, such as watching the videos and following along with the exercises. Having significant trauma and stress has been known to make it harder for people to successfully focus on completing online courses, as t takes more self-directed learning capacity and committment. My advice? If you feel called to do it, if you really want it, then strongly commit to making it happen. Block off your learning & practice times in your calendar and stick with it!
If you are currently seeing a therapist or other mental health professional related to your trauma, then I highly encourage you to ask them their opinion about you taking this course, in compliment to the work you are already doing. Often, it can be very complimentary, however sometimes it can be 'too much of a good thing'. You want to challenge yourself, but you don't want to overload your system either.
The other thing you might want to seriously consider is going for the option of the course with 12 private sessions with me. In my private 1-1 work, trauma processing is a sizable part of what I do with people, using a 'trauma-adapted' form of UZAZU.
You could also just add 2 private sessions with me, in complement to the course. Two private sessions are an additional $447 dollars. You can add these two sessions on, towards the end of the course checkout process.
With these two sessions, earlier on in the course process, perhaps after module 1 and module 3 or 4, we can work together to help you ground into the learning and integration process in a way that best meets you where you are at
And can help you work with the material in a way that can perhaps help you some with the trauma that is there in your system.
When should I consider adding Private Coaching, and what’s the difference with just doing the Core Course?
Private Coaching shifts the whole center of the process to YOU—where you are at in your life journey right now. Does this feel like a key moment or period for you? Do you feel like a big shift is wanting or needing to happen? Dylan’s private coaching focuses on honing in on the ‘deeper purpose & process’ that’s wanting to unfold through you at this moment, and supporting that to happen in the most efficient, joy-filled, and fully integrated way possible. (Yeah—I’m big on being able to actually enjoy and be in love with the process, no matter how confusing or intense it may feel at times. 😉
