Training Schedule:

Portland, Maine, USA - April 28-30, 2023
The training runs 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
  • Please arrive between 8:30-8:45 am on Friday so that we may begin promptly at 9 am.
  • Tea and light foods will be available on Friday morning, during the check-in period.
  • The timing of our 90 minute lunch break will vary, beginning between 12 and 12:20.
  • There will also be a 15 minute break, during each morning and afternoon session.

We will also offer:
An optional guided movement-improv session on Saturday evening, from 7:30-9:00 pm.
(No movement or dance experience required. This unique ‘bonus’ event is worth planning on! By moving more freely together to music, lightly guided through the Modes in this more free-form way, we can all benefit from the play, integration and community-connection it offers!)

Meet the Host & Coordinator for this Training:

This is our home turf, so we're hosting this one! Deb lives in Portland ME, and Dylan in nearby Freeport

In fact, the Maine Center for Taijiquan & Qigong has served us beautifully as an UZAZU lab space for our collaborative development of UZAZU. After 3 years of offering this Foundations training only online, we are delighted to start our return to in-person training here in our local community, and we look forward to welcoming people to our home playing ground.

Don't hesitate to reach out to deb at deb.grant@uzazu.org if you have any questions.
